A New Year and New Opportunities

In December and January of this year we’ve been on the road again working with network and broadcast clients in a variety of jobs.  Kevin Spivey worked with journalists at WNBC in New York and WMAQ in Chicago on All Platform Journalism – teaching the art and science of camerawork for traditional reporters.  Meanwhile, Tony Martinez is in Toronto, Canada, working with the network across its platform of news and hockey shows, coaching talent and working with producers to create better shows.  The main focus this trip, analyst performance supported with better visuals and the importance of movement in the studio from talent and camera direction.  Naturally the start of the NHL season is so welcome both from the fans and the networks that have the rights to bring the games into our homes every night.  In the coming months our goal is to help broadcasters find their voice, their vision and their ultimate contribution to the viewers who pay our way.

Dallas Hope, our 3-part television documentary has been re-cut into an hour-long feature documentary.  It’s here on our site and encourage you to check it out.

We’re working with anchor teams at KOCO in Oklahoma City and you are going to have to check out one particular team in the next few months…they are going to be terrific, wow!  Is that called tease writing?

Coming in February our 9th Bassmasters Classic with our friends at JM Productions and ESPN.   Out of the boardrooms and into the water in Tulsa.  If variety is the spice of life, then we have really great lives!
